Director, Client Organizational Effectiveness
Serves as a strategic learning partner, consultant, and advisor to clients regarding organizational effectiveness, leadership development, team effectiveness, change management, customer service, and other organizational effectiveness solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Directs end-to-end client solutions and implementations including needs analysis work, team building, executive assessment, executive coaching, and facilitation to ensure their organizational goals are achieved
- Identifies client improvement opportunities and innovative approaches to talent development
- Collaboratively develops proposals with Business Development team to meet client needs
- Researches and secures emerging organizational development/training tools, content, and technology to provide to clients
- Collaboratively designs new and innovative client programming, solutions, and consulting services
- Manages the resources, staff, and vendor relationships required to implement client solutions
- Oversees the unit's budget, and manages revenues and expenses using organizational budget control processes
- Serves as subject matter expert in the areas of organizational effectiveness, leadership development, team effectiveness, change management, and customer service through continued professional development
- Collects client feedback (learner satisfaction to organizational impact) and uses it to make continuous improvements to products and services as needed
- Partners with Integrated Communications team to develop essential marketing collateral, sell sheets, web content, and trade show materials to execute marketing and sales strategies
- Networks with professional organizations and members to expand the Corporate College brand and product/service lines
- Expands relationships with key decision makers and strategically promotes use of Corporate College services within client's organization
- Builds, develops, and maintains positive consultative relationships and increases loyalty with clients
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field
- Minimum of five years of demonstrated full-time experience in designing and implementing successful organizational development initiatives
- Demonstrated consulting experience
- Demonstrated experience in adult learning
- Demonstrated experience effectively making decisions that have major implications on the management and operations within a department
- Demonstrated experience in a role requiring diverse problem-solving methods in a variety of situations

- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of Organizational Effectiveness theories, concepts, and practices with the ability to use in complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations as it pertains to the departmental focus

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field
- Demonstrated private sector experience in a position related to Organizational Development
- Professional certifications in areas of leadership, coaching, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with use of assessment tools
- Demonstrated experience with employee selection methodologies including job analysis and pre-employment assessment
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment.
- The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.
- Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite.
Target Starting Salary Range: $77,000 to $87,000. The final offer for the successful candidate is targeted to fall within this range but will be based upon an assessment of internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications in relation to the minimum and/or preferred job requirement(s).
