Location: Sussex County

Pay Rate: $25-$26 Per Hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm (if you can only work on some days but still interested, let us know and there may be some flexibility)

About The Role:

As a DSP, you'll play a key role in supporting an individual to:

• Participate in fun community outings (movies, parks, malls, gym, and more)
• Explore and develop new hobbies and interests
• Build and maintain positive and appropriate social connections
• Increase independence and productivity through skill-building
• Enjoy a fulfilling and engaging daily routine

This is a relationship-based role ideal for someone who is creative, patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoys helping others thrive.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a DSP who is:

• Experienced in supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
• Skilled at coming up with fun, meaningful, and person-centered activities
• Knowledgeable about local community resources and places of interest
• A good communicator and problem solver
• Dependable, professional, and organized
• Patient, positive, and encouraging
• Able to plan outings and adapt strategies when needed

Must-Haves:

• Reliable transportation and a good driving record
• Comfortable driving in own vehicle with the individual to community activities
• Willingness to complete required trainings and a background check (we'll guide and assist with this!)
• Capable of working without supervision (you will be 1 on 1 with the individual in the community)
