United Rotary Brush (URB) is an Olathe, KS based manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction, street sweeping and plowing industries. Our Corporate office is based in Olathe, KS and we are looking for an  Inside Sales Representative   that has the desire to help the company grow. 

Inside Sales Representative Summary

Responsible for generating sales through existing customers and pursuing prospects via telephone, email, or other outreach methods to create new business opportunities for URB. This role is accountable for building customer relationships, managing assigned accounts, and ensuring customer data in the CRM is accurate and up to date. The Inside Sales Representative will also procure and communicate accurate information to support production planning, while helping the Sales team achieve the company’s sales, revenue, and margin goals.

  Inside Sales Representative Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inside sales for assigned contacts to meet regional and corporate objectives.
  • Conduct research to identify/qualify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and in person.
  • Responsible for closing sales and meeting assigned targets/goals.
  • Understand the company’s customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and timely competitive information from outbound calls, to include competitive products and pricing, and new equipment.
  • Upsell products and services.
  • Update and maintain all customer information in the CRM, ensuring records are accurate, current, and aligned with sales process requirements.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Production teams by procuring accurate customer demand data, ensuring timely communication for production planning.
  • Complete and maintain all information in CRM sales process for assigned accounts.
  • Maintain the company’s database of current and potential customers.
  • Manage and maintain regular contact with assigned customers, providing customer awareness of URB products and service.
  • Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential customers, and follow up on leads.
  • Communicate regarding any customer issues with Sales and Operations teams. May include additional cross-functional team members.
  • Close new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries.
  • Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicate expected delivery date(s), and promptly explain stock-outs.
  • Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggest related and new product items, and explain technical features.
  • Responsible for conducting competitor analysis, summarize to sales and operations team. Information will be used to identify trends and other sales opportunities.
  • Asist Customer service in an overflow capacity as needed: answering phone calls, resolve freight issues, order entry, RMA, etc.

  Inside Sales Representative Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required. 2-year college course work is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports and business correspondence.
