Job Description

Overview

The Training & Development Business Partner, Behavioral Health Residential Services, is responsible for creating and managing trainings within the division. They assess training needs and develop new programs to meet these needs.

This position is hybrid, requiring 3-4 days per week in the office, with occasional full 5-day weeks. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain the training calendar, schedule facilitators, locations, and topics, and co-facilitate service line trainings.
  2. Coordinate and facilitate monthly New Hire Orientations.
  3. Manage and develop training initiatives based on divisional needs.
  4. Provide reports to management, evaluate training impact, and identify future needs.
  5. Serve as an Intentional Care trainer, facilitate workshops, and represent the organization at conferences.
  6. Train staff in Safety Care and CPR.
  7. Report monthly to the VP on training initiatives and divisional needs.
  8. Participate in needs analysis, track, and evaluate training performance.
  9. Mentor staff and individuals served to become trainers.
  10. Develop workshop proposals for conferences.
  11. Connect persons served and staff to recovery and psychiatric rehabilitation training opportunities.
  12. Manage training activities within budget.
  13. Attend leadership and committee meetings as required.
  14. Ensure respectful treatment of individuals served, adhering to policies and standards.
  15. Participate in supervision and staff meetings.
  16. Perform duties according to policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with at least five years experience in mental health; Masters Degree preferred with three years experience.
  • Understanding of and competence in serving diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent public speaking, writing, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SmartSheet preferred.
  • High energy, interpersonal skills, and team orientation.
  • Valid drivers license, access to insured vehicle, willing to transport clients.
