I’m in a constant state of flux when it comes to color. While I have a frightening love of monochrome, sometimes I dream of living in a technicolor home. So I was confused when I came home from Mexico with an entire bag of beautiful vibrant textiles.

I’ve slowly been adding them around the house for a hint of color here and there. This is one of my favorites from Benito Juarez Market in Oaxaca. The triangle pillow was handmade by our clever friend Manz and is made of Pendleton fabric.

I also finally framed the Olle Eksell Cocoa Eyes poster and I couldn’t be happier with the contrast on the black wall. The eyes peek out through the door from the kitchen and I love the detail where it reads Malmö – the Swedish town we were living in when Karan and I first met.

Love the contrast with the black wall! What frame did you use for the Olle Eksell poster?

Thanks Fabian, it’s just a reliable old Ribba frame from Ikea!
