A Southern restaurant in Miami is not the typical fare, but Yardbird Southern Table & Bar is an exception and a local institution. Famous for their signature fried chicken, it comes from an old family recipe in which it is brined for 27-hours, dipped in flour with cayenne, fried to crispy perfection and finally served with Tabasco-spiced honey. Hospitality is warm, bourbon cocktails are served in mason jars and you’re transported miles from South Beach.
