I love Airbnb. Sometimes I get stuck browsing listings for hours. I just love seeing inside peoples homes, gathering interior ideas and generally dreaming about travel. It’s exactly how I found the wonderful Dome in the Desert and many of the other places we have stayed the past few years. Sometimes an amazing accommodation option will dictate where we go.

My girlfriends are planning a little trip away and have Hawaii in mind, so I was super excited to find this tropical tree house during my search; though it’s not quite what we’re looking for. I remember watching this documentary about it last year during my obsession with tiny living. It’s an inspiring home that makes the most of its setting – it runs on rainwater, is constructed with bamboo and is built on stilts so you’re totally surrounded by trees. How lovely! It’s on the wishlist!
