Hi there, I’m Ash! I’m an Australian creative currently based in Amsterdam. I’m a freelance art director, interactive designer and strategist. I also work as a commercial photographer, mostly on editorial and tourism focused projects.
I’m an avid traveller and relish the challenge of adapting to new cultures and communities. Born and raised in country Victoria, I’ve since had the privilege to live and work in Tokyo, New York, Melbourne and Malmö. I live with my partner Karan where we fall in love with Amsterdam a little more each day.
Many moons ago, I started this blog to record the process of turning our Manhattan apartment into a home. It’s since evolved into a journal of my travels along the way, with city guides to just some of the places I love. My past few years were spent in Japan, where I had the pleasure of exploring all 47 prefectures.
