In the last few months we’ve packed up our life in New York, explored the sights and tastes of Mexico, spent time with our loved ones in Australia and started a new chapter in Tokyo. It’s been an overwhelming time, so it’s lovely to be getting settled and slowly exploring our new home.

Shinjuku Gyoen is a beautiful garden and it’s hard to believe such a peaceful place exists in the heart of the city. I spent hours wandering the enormous grounds which smell like pine needles and are filled with people enjoying picnics and tai chi. I can’t wait to see it filled with golden leaves in autumn and cherry blossoms in spring.
