Symmetry Breakfast

someform-symmetry-breakfast-01I’ve always been interested in breakfasts wherever we travel. From aloo paranthas and chai in India, through to pan dulce and huevos rancheros in Mexico – I’ve always enjoyed discovering the world outside my bowl of cereal. Our weekend treat in New York was always an everything bagel with the lot, while now in Tokyo it’s sushi with miso or something more like this. Just this morning, I even made tamagoyakai (Japanese rolled omelette) for the first time, which was both easy and delicious!

Someone who has turned the idea of breakfast into an impressive project is Michael Zee who I discovered via Symmetry Breakfast on Instagram. Based in London, he makes breakfast for his partner Mark every morning, exploring cuisines from around the world with immaculate presentation. Does your breakfast look like this every day? Me neither. I wish! These are just a few of my favorites.
